The application adapts seamlessly to your available free time. You can specify a goal—such as learning to play the guitar—and add it to Downtime with an estimated commitment. The platform allows you to customize your experience by choosing to include as much or as little preparatory information as desired, without imposing strict deadlines.

Organizational features include tagging, which not only categorizes activities but also establishes connections to specific times and locations. By linking tags to particular contexts, Downtime can generate intelligent, context-aware recommendations tailored to your current situation.

For users unsure of what activity to pursue next, Downtime offers contextual suggestions based on your current availability, location, and time of day. For instance, if you have three hours free, it might recommend practicing a song; with only fifteen minutes, it could suggest working on a chord.

Downtime Pro provides an enhanced suite of features designed for more advanced users.
